ONE DAY OLD -- Meet the rest of the family!

Mariana and Jack met their new sister at the hospital, the morning after she was born, before school. Thank you, Marieke, for bringing them! They were so sweet, and a little surprised at how tiny Eliana is!

Eliana got to wear her special hat that MARIANA MADE! Mariana knitted this last fall, full of FAITH and HOPE that God was going to answer our prayers and bring us a baby. Thankfully, Eliana turned out to be a girl, since she only finished a girl hat!
Eliana arrived just in time for Marieke (Christiaan's cousin from Holland, who "happened" to be visiting) to hold her. Her plane was scheduled to bring her back to Holland two days later!
