Hyatt Regency
The main atrium of this landmark San Francisco hotel is a sight to behold. It makes you dizzy and gives you a feeling of awe. The hanging plants from all the little balconies are great too!

Flag
A beautiful picture of an American flag, flying at the end of Pier 1 in San Francisco. It was such a beautiful day. It's funny how some fall (or spring) days in the city are nicer than most summer days. We walked around in a t-shirt with temperatures of about 75-80!
I remember the quote by Mark Twaine: "The coldest day I ever experienced was a summer day in San Francisco."

Opa's Visit!
Opa and his brother-in-law, Ome Jitz, are here for a nice visit! We've been so excited about them coming and had been counting down the days. Jack especially was having a hard time waiting! Everytime we'd mention that Opa was coming soon, he'd ask, "Today??!" and almost start getting ready to go to the airport!
Finally, this past Monday, he got to go pick them up!
Opa and Ome Jitz brought presents for us - thank you everyone! Of course it's always fun to open new presents!
Ome Jitz gave us a Dutch version of "Go Fish", called "Kwartet" (quartet). The grown-up men had a great time playing it!
Fun with Opa - playing Blind Man's Bluff.
The kids are having such a great time!
Playing baseball in our court - Jack thought it was hilarious!

Bath Time
The funniest thing was earlier we had explained to Andrew (middle) that the boys would take a bath together, and Mariana, the only girl, would take a shower upstairs. He went around discussing this situation with each kid and adult, processing the concept. For about 30 minutes straight...

Are We There Yet?
We had lunch at a rest stop, taking a break from the ever-so-exciting Interstate 5.
